Private Instruction For Men & Women
In addition to our scheduled courses, WFA offers three private instruction options.
Private Instruction Offerings
I. Private Individual, Couple, or Group Training
WFA offers men, women, individuals, couples, and groups private instruction on most of the courses listed on our Courses Dashboard.
II. Pistol Selection Coaching
As part of our private instruction offerings, one of our instructors can accompany you to the gun shop or range and coach you on selecting a pistol that is right for your according to:
- Your intended purpose for owning the firearm (target or competitive shooting, personal defense inside the home, personal defense outside the home), single, or multipurpose.
- Grip size and trigger reach.
- Level of comfort and skill with a particular action type and caliber.
- Your desired investment.
III. Corporate Team Building
Our founder, Nicole Ferguson, worked as a management consultant for nearly nine years. Through her work with Fortune 100 companies, she gained extensive experience developing and executing training programs and team building activities. She has channeled these skills to develop a fun and effective team building program through firearms training. This program can help your team:
- Understand the dynamics that occur within your team
- Identify and enhance the strengths of each member
- Build trust between members
- Develop a synergy within the team that raises overall performance
- Build a sense of camaraderie through a shared training experience
General Rates & Guidelines
Private instruction is offered on an hourly basis. For novice and intermediate students, a minimum of 3 hours is typically required for the first session. This enables the instructor to have time to understand the participant's strengths and learning needs and to begin to build or strengthen the students shooting fundamental skills. Subsequent sessions can be scheduled in increments of an hour.
Depending on the instruction provided, private instruction could take place at the range, gun shop, classroom, or other locations. A mileage charge may occur if training is conducted more than 15 miles from our office in Marietta, GA.
An approved application is required for each individual participating in private instruction.
