Iron Peaches

Iron Peaches is an inclusive group of Atlanta area women who share an interest in firearms. The goals of Iron Peaches are to network, learn from one another and have fun while promoting a positive image of gun ownership.

Our Activities

Iron Peaches participate in and organize a wide variety of shooting and non-shooting related activities. Some examples of our activities are listed below.

Shooting Related Activities

Non-Shooting Related Activities

Becoming An Iron Peach

It's easy to become an Iron Peach. Any woman who takes at least one qualifying course at WFA is eligible to join the group. This requirement helps ensure that every member has an understanding of firearm safety and understands the fundamentals of shooting. Qualifying courses include: NRA Basic Pistol, NRA Basic Rifle, NRA Basic Shotgun, or any course listed above this level in the pistol, rifle, or shotgun category of our course dashboard. Additionally, private instruction qualifies on a case by case basis.

Member Participation

Upon joining, we ask members to complete a brief survey about their interests which helps us identify and plan Iron Peach activities. Members participate in as many or as few activities and events as they wish. However, depending on the activity or event, space may be limited. Additionally, we try to obtain group discounts whenever possible to reduce the cost of the events for each member participating.

Many of the events are for members only, however, we sometimes have events where members can invite their husbands, significant others or friends.

Event Planning

We can always use help planning events and activities. All members' assistance and suggestions are welcome. Any member who is willing to make the time and has the energy and desire to lead one of our events should express their interest to Nicole Ferguson.
